Acquiring a certificate of good conduct has been one of the prerequisites for anyone considering going abroad for work. But on the 11th of October 2021 just after the independence day; the minister of internal affairs Major general Kahinda Otafiire’s letter scraping the need for certificates of good conduct before travel was made public.

However, those who will be working in security-related fields will still be required to have certificates of good conduct before Travel. Effective 13th October 2021, anyone considering travelling for none security work will no longer be required to possess a good conduct certificate from the Interpol
