Education is one of the basic needs everyone should be entitled to. But quality education requires you to part with some quality amount of money. In these schools, the common Uganda teachers’ salary scale does not apply since teachers earn some fairly good pay as well as some attractive allowances.

10. Acorns International School ($2400 to $9770)

Heritage international school is number 8 of the top 10 most expensive schools in Uganda. The school is located in Kansanga with annual fees ranging from Ugx 21,000,000 to Ugx 41,650,000. The school also offers online courses.

7. Ambrosoli International School ($7000 to $12000)

Ambrosoli international school Kampala is the seventh of the top 10 most expensive schools in Uganda. The school boast of students from over 40 countries. It is located in Bugolobi; Kampala with a fees structure ranging from Ugx 24,500,000 to Ugx 42,000,000. The school is set apart by its emphasis on community and family.

6. 7 Hills International School ($8000 to $12600)

7 Hills international school is located in Kololo which is one of the rich neighborhoods in Kampala within the vicinity of the Russian Embassy in Uganda. The school annual fees range between Ugx 28,000,000 and Ugx 44,100,000. It is one of the spacious international schools within a few kilometers from Kampala city center.

5. Galaxy International School ($4760 to $12820)

Galaxy international school Uganda is number 5 of the top 5 most expensive schools in Uganda. The school’s annual fees range between Ugx 16,660,000 and Ugx 44,870,000. The school is located in Lubowa which is also one of the rich neighborhoods in Kampala. It is also in the same vicinity as the International School of Uganda.

4. Rainbow International School ($5030 to $14555)

Rainbow international school is one of the oldest international schools in Uganda. It made 30 years in 2021. On the bar of the most expensive schools in Uganda; Rainbow international school is ranked number four. The school is located in Kasanga just close to Muyenga one of the rich neighborhoods in Kampala. Their Annual fees range from Ugx 17,605,000 and Ugx 50,942,500

3.  Gems Cambridge International School ($6000 to $17500)

Gems Cambridge international school is one of the most respected if not the most respected international school in Uganda. The school is located in Butabika near Butabika hospital. Their annual fees range from Ugx 21,000,000 and Ugx 61,250,000. Compared to all the international schools on this list, Gems Cambridge is the most distant from Kampala city center.

It featured in the Queen of Katwa movie as the school for the rich class of Uganda enough though it was not referred to as Kampala international school in the movie. In the number one slot of the most expensive school in Uganda is the international school of Uganda located in Lubowa. Lubowa is one of the biggest rich neighborhoods in Uganda. Their school annual fees range from Ugx 19,250,000 to Ugx 101,150,000.
