Police in the Kabale region have arrested a 27-year-old lady suspected to have been part of a group that has been killing and robbing people in the western area.
The police spokesman of the Kigezi region Mr. Maate Elly recognized the lady as Ainembabazi Aisha, a resident of Bukinda Sub Country in Kabale district, who was arrested on Wednesday from Nyaruhanga village.
Mr. Elly added that Aisha has been on the run, and she was on the police wanted list together with a number of known criminals in the region.
He says this gang on fourth April 2017 at around 10:30 pm rented a Toyota Premio license plate UAV 287S going to Fort Portal, only some days after they found Charles Kasangaki, (34) killed in Bwizi sub-county, Kamwengye district.
Following a couple of days, the vehicle was found in a bond in Bakuli, Kampala being sold.
Aisha will be taken to Fort Portal, Kabarole where she will be charged. 5 different suspects have as of now been arrested in this matter and taken to court.
