Julius Sskeitoleko; a Ugandan weight lifter goes missing in Tokyo. The 20-year old who was part of the 9 members Olympic team of Uganda had traveled to Japan for the 2020 Olympics. Unfortunately; he failed to qualify and for that reason, he was scheduled to return home in the coming week.
His absence was noticed when the time for the Covid-19 test came on Friday only to realize; he was not present. They later checked his hotel room which was also found empty. According to the Kyodo News agency; he left a note behind saying he did not want to return home.
Associated Press also reported the Izumisano mayor saying that they had reports that Julius Ssekitoleke had been seen at one of the train stations in the city.
