Uganda has started its championship quest with a 3-1 win against Burkina Faso. The first set was won by Uganda with a 25:15 win, the second set was also won by Uganda with a 25:18 win. The third set was won by Burkina Faso with 26:28 and Uganda scored a win in the last slot with 25:13.
