During the weekly security debrief, Fred Enanga the Uganda police spokesperson summoned the father of the late Jacob Oulanyah, Bobi wine, Godfrey Kiwanda, and Chris Balyomunsi among other individuals over the continued allegation that the former speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah was poisoned.
Kiwanda Suubi was heard on Capital FM during the weekend and a number of other top media houses in Uganda claiming that the late Jacob Oulanyah had also shared with him about his poisoning. The same narrative was first fronted by Mzee Nathan Okori the father of Jacob Oulanyah who claimed that his son had told him about his poisoning before he passed on.
Bobi Wine in the same line picked what the father of Jacob Oulanyah had shared and demanded that the government gives a proper report on the cause of Oulanyah’s death. “The cause of death of the Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah was said; multiple organ failures. From all the hospitals he went to, there was no poison detected. Any other cause of death is dangerous speculation and must be avoided.” said Fred Enanga.
