The Ugandan marathon duo, Jacob Kiplimo, and Joshua Cheptegei have again stamped their dominance on the international scene after winning the New york half marathon. In their earlier days, Joshua Chetegei always rose for Gold or silver and Jacob Kiplimo followed in the shadows. But since Joshua Cheptegei’s return from injury, he has not been able to overthrow the dominance of his former subordinate.
In the New york half marathon, Jacob Kiplimo won gold after clocking 1:01:31. He was followed by Joshua Cheptegei with 1:02:09 and Zouhair Talbi with 1:02:18.
