Uganda cranes will be facing Mali today at 4:00 pm at St. Mary’s stadium in Kitende. Mali is apparently the group leader for group E that also features Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda. Yesterday Kenya and Rwanda drew with a 1-1 score earning Kenya the second position in Group E.

Rwanda is the last in Group E with only one point followed by Uganda which still has a game at hand. Uganda cranes will have to win at home to lighten their chances of making it into the world cup. Mali is still leading the Group with 3 points with a game at hand too.

A 0-0 draw will earn Uganda the second position in group E; while a win will put them at the top of the table. In case of a loss to Mali, Uganda cranes will either continue in the third position or replace Rwanda in the fourth position of Group E
