Kampala city traders association (KACITA) chairman; Everest Kayondo who is also the former chairman of the Association of Uganda tour operators (AUTO) has died today afternoon at Lifeline International Hospital in Zana.
The proprietor of Ever Based Tours and Travel is said to have tested positive for Covid-19 on the 19th of June 2021 (the previous Saturday) at Lifeline International Hospital in Zana a Kampala city suburb along Entebbe road.
Everest Kayonda has been known as a prominent businessman, an activist for the city traders as well as a major player in the tours and travel industry. He is one of the people that speared headed the save Murchison falls campaign during his tenure as the chairman of the Association of Uganda tour operators (AUTO)
