Bayern Munich has had one of its worst seasons ever, finishing without a single trophy this season. Several coaches have been named as potential replacements for Tuchel, including former Manchester United Manager Ralf Rangnick, but it seems the Bayern Munich board is currently closing in on Vincent Kompany, according to Fabrizio Romano.

“The Bayern board feels that Vincent Kompany has huge potential to become a top coach, trusting his vision and ideas,” says Fabrizio Romano. The only thing left to be sorted is the compensation fee, and then everything will be finalized.
