The Uganda technology and management university (UTAMU) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and sports is offering a total of 400 scholarships to Ugandans. The scholarships are open for May 2023 intake.

Target Groups For The Scholarship

There are two categories of people that are being targeted for these scholarships. Youths of 30 years and below in government working in departments that handle information, data security, and cybercrime, and Ugandans with a diploma in Education intending to upgrade with a degree in secondary education.

Programs offered

There are four programs available for these scholarship opportunities;

  • Bachelor of science in computer security and forensics.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Bachelor of project planning and management
  • Bachelor of Education (Secondary)

Number of Scholarships Available

They are a total of 400 scholarships offered on a regional basis. Each of the four regions of Uganda will be given twenty (20) scholarships per the above-listed scholarships.

In total, each region will get 80 scholarships.

How to Apply For the scholarship

There are three application options. You can apply through the UTAMU website. You can download the application form from the UTAMU website, fill it in and send it to admissions@utamu.ac.ug.

Lastly, you can apply for the scholarship by taking a hard copy of your application to the UTAMU Bugolobi campus or the UTAMU Kungu campus.

The application deadline for the scholarship application is Friday 28th April 2023.
