Esther and Ezekiel a Ugandan singing duo that won East Africa has got Talent competitions have shone again at Canada Got Talent competitions. They made their mark at Canada got talent 3 weeks ago when they performed Chris Brown’s hit Song No Air. Fast forward, they received positive remarks from the judges thus getting through to the semi-finals.

Two days ago, they pulled off a magnificent performance of their version of Calum Scott’s ‘You Are The Reason’. The song was dedicated to their mother Julie Mutesasira who fleed you due to her none biological sexual orientation which is not acceptable in Uganda.

A total of 18 performers made it to the semi-finals. The duo awaits what Canada thinks of their performance. They need a tonne of votes to make it through to the finals. It should be noted that their second performance was far better than the first one. If they make it to the finals, they will be just one step closer to a prize of $150,000
