The parliament of Uganda has with reconsideration passed the anti-homosexuality Bill 2023. The bill had been sent back by the president of Uganda over four clauses that he had found somewhat not well thought through.

Among the sections that were amended include persons who knowingly allow their premises to be used for acts of homosexuality without reporting them to the police. They will now face 7 years in prison upon conviction. While having knowledge of homosexuals without reporting them will attract 5 years in jail or Ush 10 million.
