The United Arab Emirates will extend its weekend from Friday and Saturday to include a Sunday in their weekend. Starting next year, their weekend will start on Friday afternoon until Sunday making the gulf country have a four and a half working days week.
According to a tweet that has published on Tuesday at the official Twitter handle of the United Arab Emirates, the shift will boost productivity and improve work-life balance. However since Friday is a sacred day, the afternoon of Friday will mark the beginning of a weekend in the United Arab Emirates.
Throughout the year, the Friday prayers will be held starting from 1:15 pm onwards
