Prudential has completed the merger and takeover of International Air Ambulance health, commonly known as IAA healthcare in Uganda. IAA; a prominent health insurance service provider in Uganda has completed its merger with Prudential Assurance; the fastest growing life insurance company in Uganda.

During the press conference; the CEO of Prudential Assurance in East Africa Arjun Mallik; announced that all staff, policyholders, and agents of international Air Ambulance health are now part of Prudential Assurance.  The move was also stamped by the insurance regulatory authority complimenting that consumers are going to benefit more from the smooth financial service delivery.

Boasting of over 15 million customers around the world; Prudential promised to cover its customers once they have been diagnosed with Covid-19.

The merger is one of the expected several mergers to come as a result of businesses grappling with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
