Upon the declaration of a 42 days lockdown, the government of Uganda promised to offer relief to over 500,000 vulnerable families in Uganda. The deadline for the disbursement of the relief money was set for 16th July 2021. Unfortunately; a number of Vulnerable Ugandans were not able to receive their relief according to the issue of discrepancies in the data collection and sorting.

Today, the Prime minister of Uganda Robina Nabbanja has come out to offer clarification for the sake of those who did not receive their relief. According to her submission; the relief disbursement process is going to continue however much they are still facing data issues.
