The month of April has started with joy in the tourism and conservation universe. Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, the leading gorilla trekking destination in Uganda has witnessed with joy another baby birth in the Rushegura mountain gorilla family of the Buhoma sector.
Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is divided into four sectors, Ruhija sector, Rushaga sector, Buhoma sector, and Nkuringo sector. Of all these sectors, the Buhoma sector is the leading sector because of its history behind it. The Buhoma sector is home to the first-ever habituated gorilla family in Uganda. And it is in this very sector that we find the Rushegura mountain, gorilla family.
The first image of the thirteenth member of the Rushegura family born to Nyabukye was shared on Saturday by Uganda wildlife Authority on their official Facebook account.
