Embattled Sheik Umaru has been remanded to Luzira Prison this morning. This came after his arrest yesterday over conning 16 million Ugandan shillings from a person whom he had promised to double the sum through his infamous duwa prayers. Upon realizing the money wasn’t doubling, the victim reported Umar to Nansana police which arrested him. He spent last night in police cells and he was taken to court today morning and remanded to Luzira Prison until 1st Feb. Sheik Umar has been in the news recently over impregnating young girls who go to seek divine intervention from him through his Duwa prayers and thereafter failing to take care of the babies. He is also famous for splashing money in social places.
